It is a truly wonderful symphony. I had not heard of him before, thank you for posting it. I noticed in information about him that his birthday was the same as mine - January 13th. I went to a concert at the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra in Moscow years ago although I have no memory of what the music was. I do remember seeing Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake at the Bolshoi Ballet though, magical.
